Forgotten your username? We normally ask that users use their email address as their account name, so try logging in with your email address. If you chose something other than your email address for your username, and have forgotten what you chose, please send mail to ml-accounts@movielens.umn.edu and we'll see what we can do.

If you have lost or forgotten your password, MovieLens may be able to help you by sending you a new password.

• If your account name is your current email address, you can have MovieLens send a new password to that email address. To receive a new password, please enter in your username (email address) in the text entry below and and click on the button to submit the form. A temporary password will be emailed to you.
  
  
• If for some reason, your email address is not your username, we cannot automatically change your password, since we have no way of emailing you the new password. Contact us at ml-accounts@movielens.umn.edu with your username and your current email address, and request a manual password change.
